File extension rec information

File extension REC is an ARCserve Archivation Protocol created by Computer Associates International, Inc. this file format has an association with the Computer Associates Arcserve backup application. To use REC files properly, users require to install the Arcserve application in their systems. Other files having the REC file extension name include the EpiInfo Data file, ARCSERVE archivation protocol, DSJ 3 Hill Record File, Sprint Record File, Topfiled TF5800 and the Windows Macrorecorder macro file. This file format is mainly used by a hard disk recorder Topfield TF5800 for various recorded programs.
